Why do people judge all rap music based on a few songs they hear. Look at your favorite music genre, probably filled with a bunch of commericialized artist that dont represent the whole genre and trouble makers also.

That's a good point. A lot of rap music I don't like but some I think is cool. Same with other genres, as you say.

I don't mind rap. I have some snoop dogg CDs and some Easy E! I just get ****ed off at ppl who obviously only listen to rap! Thats all. Thats all. I just, don't have much patients for fools who just sit around all day making themselves all ignorant and ****... thats all.

This thread makes me ****ing sad. I can say the same thing about rock music now. What happened to the guitar solo? I haven't heard one in ****ing months. It's all these new indie bands that play a couple of easy chords with a simple riff in the bridge. You people all have this opinion because the stuff that is produced for the masses is simple ****. Most people can enjoy it easily and will happily buy a CD with 23 remixes of the same some for $24.95. Thats where all the money is at. You want to listen to thought provoking, real music, you need to look harder...There is still good rap music out there.

You people are stupid, without a doubt.

Rock music contains heavy metal, emo rock, punk rock, death metal, grunge etc.

Exact same thing with hip-hop, it has Club tracks (50 cent, soulja boy, three six mafia) and it has it's lyrical side (talib kweli, rakim)

You can't listen to one song by soulja boy then catergorise the whole of hiphop, same as me listening to a Marilyn manson song about killing yourself then classifying all rock as suicidal music etc

Who ever mentions Tupac in any way besides his dedication to production doesn't know hip-hop at all.

Listen to Big L, Rakim, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and then come back and tell me that Hip-hop is dead/wack

Rap in itself is sung poetry, thats the only way to define it.

It has stepped up a level. If you people did rap, you would know all about writing a verse.

Things such as Multi-syllable rhymes, internals, wordplay, punchlines rararara theres alot of it, and it requires alot of talent

Rap isn't Dr Suess rhymes

ie rarararara cat

rararararara bat

Its stepped up MANY levels, 3 or 4 syllables may be rapped at one time.

ie

the ~truth is tragic~, this ~fruits a ******~

choosing anus abusing like two ~dudes in marriage~

or

my words will rock ya, when i ~drops the lines~

so i serve ya proper and ~pop ya spines~

some quotes..

eminem - "i murder a rhyme one word at a time u never heard of a mind as perverted as mine"

fabolous - "we been creeping and sneaking just to keep it from leaking we so deep in our freakin that we dont sleep on the weekends"

pap - "what if mother nature aborted the sky would we still shoot our fireworks on the fourth of july can't afford to live so abortions rise can't afford the troops so we taught the lie can't afford a funeral cuz the cost is high god damn we can't even afford to die"

etc...

Personally i'm an emcee, i rap, i dance, i entertain. I love my hiphop, but that doesn't mean i don't like other genres (i also listen to heavy metal, trance/hardcore, reggae, country and western.. yes i can listen to country and western)

i love the old tunes and i agree with this stuff getting commercial nowadays :)

but check out these russian guys: GUF

don't know 'em, never seen 'em live, only head the album "Город Дорог", but i think they are good and definately worth checking out.

i have no idea how it will sound like to one who doesnt understand russian tho

The underground stuff I've heard is good. The mainstream stuff is just crap IMHO. A bunch of fake thugs talking about growing up in the hood and how tough they had it. When in reality most of them grew up in your average town and most likely in a middle class family.

Eminem for example. His early stuff is alright. Then he went mainstream and every song had to be about how much he hates his mom, then he hates his girlfriend, no wait he loves his girlfriend again and then he wants to kill them both. No wait...he wants to marry the girlfriend and Moby is too old to be wearing the clothes he wears. He couldn't do a song without talking trash about someone in it to get that song some attention and to sell albums. I'm glad I haven't heard any of him for a while.

Now every rap song has to have it's own dance. Getting more than tired of hearing that Superman song and seeing teens everywhere doing it. Hop on YouTube and there's multiple versions of it called Spiderman, Batman...BLAH BLAH. I actually had to tell my nieces that if they come here and use my computer to get on MySpace or anything, that I DID NOT want to hear that song again. So now they put on my headphones.

Most of the mainstream ones are just in it for the money and are complete fakes.

50 Cent is one of the biggest whiners I've ever seen

Kanye West easily wins the award for most spoiled brat in the world. The guy cries about everything. Getting mad that your precious little video didn't win because it cost over a million dollars to make is just over-the-top immaturity. I also can't stand how he thinks of himself as a Christ figure. If you don't understand what I mean by that just watch him closely. He loves doing photos where he's doing a Christ pose. He wore the crown of thorns for the Rolling Stone cover I think it was. Watch his video for that Stronger song and he's imitating a Christ-like figure in that video. He thinks too highly of himself. Man the guy gets on my nerves.

Who the hell doesn't wanna make money?

Thats the dumbest thing i've heard.

And about the Crank that song, Soulja boy made his OWN dance for HIMSELF

'Watch Me Do It (Watch Me Do It)

Dance (Dance)

Lean'N To (Lean'N To)

Nope,You Can't Do It Like Me

Hoe, So Don't Do It Like Me

Folks, I See You Tryna Do It Like Me

Man That **** Was Ugly

And thats why you get the batman/spiderman so on and so forth..

    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
    • Yes, THIS is wordart, not the styling that can now be done. Wordart was all about those curvy words, that you could change the path of, like making words go around a circle. I don't think it can be done now, right?
    • Just saw a news report of a Waymo driving into a flooded road.
    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays.
