Mind Of Mencia

Recommended Posts

I gave the video a shot and I noticed that when the lady told him to shut up and whatever in spanish, everyone laughed. Just found that interesting.

Mencia always yells and dances around to make people laugh. He's basically a clown. "Some of you aren't laughing, so you must not get it.."-> No we aren't laughing because it isn't funny.

His show seems too forced, his act feels fake, and its all material that I've heard before. His brother (or whoever that guy is) is the only funny part of the show. It just seems to have that "Oh my God I can't believe he just said that!" effect. That just doesn't work for me... I've been desensitized by my time on the internets ;(

The show sucks. It seems like all he talks about is racial stereotypes. And WAY too much of it. Boring, not funny, and annoying at times.

I remember when I first saw his standup on ComedyCentral, instead of closing with a joke, he leaves with a serious comment. Kinda ruin the whole standup.

i find his show funny.. but losing alot of steam.. season 2 has been going down hill, it can't even come close to comparing to his stand up... my problem with the show is that it has always tried to be a very OBVIOUS clone of chappelles show...but now with a mexican making fun of mexicans, ya know.. the whole stage, plot of the show, content.. it has chappelle written all over it. I know it's on the same network and all.. but it will never come close to what chappelle show was/is.

He's horrendous. He only has one bit. Racial stuff. Once he calls a few people beaners, says something dumb about Cubans, and the final "it's okay white people, you can laugh! Hahaha!" he's done for.

I hate him and his stupid ass show. But he was pretty good on Conan last night. The 3am one.

    • IBM are good at announcing stuff, but not at actually delivering it... How many decades ago did they announce quantum computers, and here we are in 2026, with CHINA delivering them, and IBM still talking...
    • It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite a narrative to align this layoff with your political beliefs. Games can be horrible, whatever backwards notions you have don’t change that bungie has problems, mostly with just bad games, and arrogance. When they pushed Microsoft to let them be independent they lost their way. They hired on a bunch of people and they couldn’t justify the employee count consistent with their revenue.
