Australian built? Ford is an american born company....

Can you read?

Best Australian BUILT cars

I couldn't give to ****s where the company comes from. Now, anyone wanna continue with the thread?

I always thought they drove ut's (ewts).

It's a 'ute' or you'd call it a utility. And no, we don't all drive them, only people who need them for work tend to. As for my favourite car, dunno, I don't pay much attention to cars except for if I see something nice while I'm riding to/from school or just about.

I don't think I'll be going for my license too soon, not with our new **** house P plater laws.

Australian cars are the some of the worst cars in the world. I have a 97 falcon and I have spent more on repairs then I paid for the car!

You are the fool who bought an EF. For that, I say you are a fool.

 I knew there would have to be some smart-arse

Some people would think you are the fool for starting this thread, that you think there are good 'Australian' cars

I am guessing you are referring to yourself ;)

All car makers have a few bad eggs, I have a '76 fairmont and it is stilling running fine, never had ANY problems with it.

Germans and Italians build the best cars, so no need to compare and contrast Aussie cars.

Maybe in the past. In recent years, Benz, VW, and Audi have been some of the crappiest cars made. Much, much worse than any American or Korean car, based on reliability ratings.

Personally I think his statement is just fanboish and stupid in a thread about Australian cars. I have not seen one tough European car... ever.

Australia's car lovers like big, fast, tough cars that look good.

- Falcon - Big, Fast, Looks

- Commodore - Big, Fast, Looks

Forever... they have always been like that.

I have an old VL Holden Commodore.

I think they were Built around 1986.

Only major repair I have had done is a new Gearbox with a few minor engine repairs here and there.

So I would have to say that Holden would be the Best built cars.

My Father is on his 5th (Yes 5th) Ford in 6 years.

My old man's a mechanic, he used to work for RACQ, and has told me, Commodores are one of the worst cars on the road.

He now works on Falcons all day, everyday, and hasn't got a bad thing to say about them.

In cars though, its really how you look after them.
