Logitech Setpoint not saving settings

Hey,

I'm using setpoint for my mx3100 keb/mouse combo and I have uberoptions installed. But my setpoint settings aren't saved. Whenever I reboot my mousespeed setting are reset as are the settings for the function keys on my keyboard. This is really starting to get annoying.

Well my pc crashed two times and when I reboot then, the settings haven't changed :s So it's not like the settings aren't getting saved. Something is resetting the settings on boot or shutdown.

I used to get that too sometimes. The setting would be lost randomly and unpredictably. Now it seems fine though. I think it was doing that because I had it set to hide the system tray icon.

hmmm, can't think why that would be a problem but since I don't have a solution yet, I might as well try it. I've changed the setting and I will reboot when I can. Right now the pc is in the middle of encoding some recordings.

I do remember that the settings of which system tray icons should be hidden and which should not, would get deleted sometimes. Maybe that's a connection with the problem...

Unhiding the icon in the system tray didn't work as I suspected. Any other ideas?

Found the problem. I remembered I used a tweak a pretty long time ago to let windows xp shutdown faster and it seems that setpoint isn't closed correctly then. The tweak I'm referring to: http://tweakxp.com/article37045.aspx I just restored the default settings and now setpoint remembers my settings.
