Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs

Recommended Posts

Where can I (legally) buy or otherwise obtain (again, legally) a copy of Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs? I have an old desktop I want to install it on that doesn't really run XP or 2000 that well, but would definitely meet the requirements for WFfLP (funny abbreviation :D ).

EDIT: I did some further research.... It appears it isn't available through OEM or retail chains. Hmm.... Ideas, anyone?

Argh! Damn you Microsoft! People (like myself & Quick Reply) actually want to fork out more money for a product we don't actually NEED and you won't sell to us.... :-(

It's a product designed for SA customers (a programme that customers can subscribe to - often businesses with various licensing deals). It's not an OS that Microsoft want released "into the wild".
I see your point, but it would still be nice to have.

Hold on there isnt much point using WFfLP because its system requirements are the same as those for xp pro. Have you considered making a custom nlite installation cd then turning off all visual effects?
