OfF3nSiV3
I bought a ide hdd and an enclosure, and plugged it via usb. I'd like to know the temperature of the HDD, but i can't find anything to do that. I've download some 5 programs to check HDD temperatures, but none detects the external one as a HDD. Any help? DookieToo
I'm not sure if you can if it's connected via USB, because Windows itself sees it as Removable Storage & not an actual Hard Disk. If your enclosure supports Firewire(1394), it will treat it like any other HDD. Short of that, a physical thermometer or an enclosure with an LCD display are about the only way to check it.
