Yuck, i dont like the spiderman font, or the old ps1 logo either.

Think it would have looked nicer with the ps3 bar along the top instead of the side.

And i thought ingame advertising was suppose to be subtle, i can clearly make out IGN logo on her bra and ign.com on her sword :laugh:

The logo position doesn't bother me at all, but the font is a different story..

First thing I noticed and instantly hated about the appearance of the PS3 was the font :x

Overall the box looks a bit...well..boring :/

Looks to me like they mashed the PS2 and PS1 boxes together.

I like the way how every PS console has different shaped boxes.

They need to drop that old psx logo, it's awful, even for the Playstation's launch it looked dated and lame. The rest looks pretty generic, though the typography kinda makes it read 'Plawstation', not bad though I also don't care lol.

Seems to be a slightly different shape to a regular DVD box. I guess it's using the Blu-ray box.

looks disgusting... they are moving away from the norm where the bars go across the top, instead you will have the horrible blu-rauy logo there, why does it have to be sooo big, the DVD logo wasnt that big. I guess it just looks wierd coz its new maybe intime it will grow on me.

I'm pretty sure that the Spiderman Movie was created by part of Sony's huge empire. Haven't actually looked into, and don't really intend to. So I doubt thet had to "buy" the rights to use it.

But anyway, I hate that font, been over-used so much. Cover Art is good though (Y)

I dunno, the "PLAYSTATION 3" part is about the width of the spine of a DVD case. Is Sony stupid enough to replace every spine with the PLAYSTATION 3 logo/font, thus rendering any form of basic alphabetical organization useless?

I think we all know the answer to that.
