Well anything posted on Neowin with a taskbar more then 5 pixels tall is going to elicit that response.

But I'll take another look at the start button.

It looks shexy, except the start button, you need to figure out a better solution for that. :pinch:

You might try decreasing the size of it, so that it's smaller than the taskbar. ( i think that'd be enough for it to look good )

Ooh I love the startbutton keep it dude. It's different and gives the style a uniqueness sadly missing in most visual styles. That thing's got character and it screams out "Look at me, I'm BUUF!".

If you do succumb to the gang of NeoWhine bandwagon hopping kids and decide to make a plain start button, please leave this one as a subskin.

I mean this just has a certain vibe like the BeOS tracker or the orb in Vista.

Enough about that. I have one question. Is the active window border brownish like the start-menu or is it gray like the inactive windows shown?
