So L3thal...why do you dislike Liverpool?

On another note, I am loving the way everyone is writing Liverpool's hopes off of winning the Champions League again, it is just making things easier for us this year as we perform well as under dogs. I mean come on, anyone would think we lost against AC Milan two years ago in Istanbul. Not to mention they must think that we have got battered by Barcelona, Chelsea and Juventus in the Champions League in recent years

Liverpool must be a really crap team, I mean to win five European Cups? Eighteen league titles? To get to the Champions League final twice in the last three years? To be the most successful English team this millenium? Pfft...what a terrible terrible terrible football team Liverpool are, they are going to get battered 16-0 come May 23rd. And there fans...singing You'll Never Walk Alone when they are 3-0 at half time in the Champions League final, that is just so...so...soo.....

:p

how many of those players who won all those cups/league titles are actually playing? what you won with a different team is irrelevant to anything this season

i dont like how ferguson is blaming premier league for not giving his team enough preperation!!!

Liverpool played Chelsea on Wednesday 25th April

Then played Portsmouth on Saturday 28th.... 3 days difference

THEN played Chelsea 3 days later on the Tuesday... Thats 3 games in one week...

Man United are moaning cause they played a wednesday game and oh no now a saturday game.

looks like Fergusons trying to put blame somewhere.

Don't see Rafa moaning.

You totally missed the main point in my post mate

Oh, and it was only last August we won the Community Shield, and only last May when we won the FA Cup, and it is not even two years yet since we last won the Champions League.

The league does have it downfall in one area. The Fixtures are a problem.

Can anyone remember Boxing Day? it likes 3 games in 10 days. And then Feb and March are like 2 - 3 games each month.

But Man Utd are abit bare in quality. and have to rely on Ronaldo and Giggs coming in.

I couldn't stand them playing yesterday. They were not out played they were just plan lazy.

We've all seen days when clubs like Utd and Chelsea can out class other clubs on the pitch. The AC Millan we just didn't

Overall pretty disapointed as the quality of Utd isn't that great if you look at it.

Good players

Rio, Heinze (Debatable?) Neville, Van Der Sar, Vidić

Scholes, Ronaldo, Giggs, Carrick

Rooney, Solskj?r

They are all good players but the other players around them can let them down. I can't stand the likes of Silveste, O'Shea, Fletcher, Richardson

They just don't seem like top class players and that shows.

Man Utd prehaps should get some better players in next for next season. The old players can not play all the time.

i don't think you can call a player lazy Shibby. I really don't think a player would be lazy in as big of a match as UCL Semi-Final second leg, specially since your team has the advantage. away goals don't mean anything when you're winning.

manchester united got schooled, overplayed, shown, whatever the word is, use it. milan played much much better and you can't blame any single players of the f.a. league's schedule, you have to blame the team as a whole.

i wasnt including those :p as i said in a previous thread (or this one), i only use the last few (up to 5) years to say how good a team is. us winning the first 4 of the 5 premiership seasons means absolutely nothing now, the league has changed, the teams have changed, similar, you winning those 4 CLs ages ago means nothing now. the one 2 years ago is relevant as you and milan havent changed a lot

Liverpool will wear their famous red strip for this season's Champions League final against AC Milan.

Liverpool had been selected as the away team for the clash in Athens but Milan have opted to wear their all white kit, leaving the Reds free to wear their preferred colours.

Get in there!

As a United Fan, i would still like to see the cup being won by liverpool.

No Irish team is likely to win it soon , so once a british team wins i'l be happy

One day Shelbourne or Linfield will be in CL Group Stages :D

Jose Mourinho was recommended Scouse viagra by a Doctor on Wednesday morning, he cant get past a semi in Liverpool.

Oh yeah, and I am made up we are playing in red. It is a good omen, the five previous times Liverpool has won the Champions League they have been playing in red against an opponent in white!

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
