Discs are dead, welcome to the digital age. With software, data, and information being stored more and more on Memory Cards, USB Thumb Drives, and Hard Disc Drives, not to mention the move to the cloud, discs are going way of the dodo bird. Even new consumer devices such as TVs are beginning to integrate internet and cloud services into their contents to transfer, stream, and store electronic information.

I actually use ImgBurn and CDBurnerXP Pro. I used to use Nero, but I find these two do the job and my vote went to ImgBurn.

memory cards, thumb drives and hard drive can fail or become corrupted and the cloud is just air. A hard copy on a good brand of DVD can last 25 years or more and is not even effected by a nuclear magnetic pulse. I saw a recent article about a cloud based storage host that had their entire server system crash and burn and every ones data was lost. When the idea of cloud computing first came out, I new right away its THE MAN who wants it to be the future, not me.
