Hey,

I have a question. I own a 80GB hard disk, divided equally into C & D partitions. Windows and programs are installed on C, and pc games are installed on D. Should i put a page file on both partitions, or one is enough? Also, I have 768 RAM. What size should i allocate to the page file?

Thanks for the support,

Hani

Yes share it equally.

I created a partition just for the page/swap file.

If you don't have a spare partition then share it between them both.

It won't matter what you do. If you only have one physical hard drive then the read/write head can only read/write one thing at a time anyway, no matter which partition it's on.

If you had two hard drives, you could read/write data/apps/etc from one while paging to/from the other, speeding things up.
