good work john.. by far your best work. The start menu is a little too busy for me to use fulltime but it's a very well put together theme overall. I voted for you, but in my opinion i think JJ Ying has this years competition sewed up..

There will be a non "vectra image" start menu also, just aking a break for a few hours now that its finally "complete"

I also seriously doubt if JJYing has it sewn with his WB submission, like all the other submissions in this years competition that I have seen, his is nothing special at all, just average.

for your first WB, you did a very impressive job. About the whole " who's gonna win" thing, honestly i really hope you do win, if for no other reason that you've been skinning for a while now and have shown that you progressively get better, especially with this new release. It's just a matter of taste and i found JJ Ying's themes very well done. But i'm rooting for you man.. good luck.

Looks like it has gone final, but for your next update, I think the close button needs some hover animation. It would make it more obvious that it closes the window.

The close button was designed to have no mousover state, the entire flag is the close button , u can click anywhere, should only take people about 2 clicks to realize (i hope), was part of my overall design plan.

Also, im working on a clear places list substyle with no "Vectra" image and a sybstyle strictly for upper taskbar users with all taskbar elements flipped.

Excellent work...you got my vote.

As far as others go....still missing originality as far as theme perspective goes. Yeah, some have had more time to perfect the WB/SS experience, but most of those entries I've seen are just an expansion of previous working titles and ideas.

Don't get me wrong...you guys are all talented artists...but we're talking "best original" and I think this one has it.
