Next step... misticalx! Actually no, I can't even imagine getting 13,000 points AND whatever points he gets in the time it takes me to get that many. So I think I'll just set a personal goal of 50,000 by mid-way through 2008. It's hard to believe there are people with 250,000 points nowadays. Crazy!

Lol! I've been slacking lately, I'm too addicted with COD4 and social life. But I'm going to get started on my gamerscore again soon though.

Haven't been playing much 360, been caught up in Guild Wars and re-reading the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.

But did make some score progress today. Current sitting at 20200, been playing Guitar Hero II and not III. Think, I might get some co-op on both games with my brother to get some of those achievements. Might go rent a game or two this weekend. Maybe CSI and Madden 08 to get all of those. **** I still need to finish out all of King Kong achievements.

holy smack bottom... i got Avatar just for points and looks like i did, exactly as they said.... freaking 2 minutes! Who hoo... i've moved up the ranks for sure now:

Rank 154 - 134 in 2 mins... :)

Once you get upto about 25k it gets harder to move up the ranks :p

We want you back Neo!

Don't worry, he'll be back soon with his marines sarge voice

Sorry Sarge: I have been hooked on CoD4 online play and there are no achievements there, Sir.

Boy, I have been stuck in the 17K range for ages.

I'll admit I am too lazy to rent Avatar or King Kong for quick easy points. Oh well, I may get Assassin's Creed and Burnout Paradise but Cod4 multi is so addictive.

/sigh

Rented TMNT to get a easy 1000, and become tied with Piracy there, but go figure one of the final bosses glitches/bugs on my me. Fighting Mono, after fighting the one guy before him, take out all of Mono's health, and he continues to do the mega-hammer move over and over, and when I go to melee him he just falls down gets up and keeps falling down as long as I hit him. :(

You are joking? :( Im sorry to hear that Slane. I didn't get this bug when i played it.

No i'm not. I've even restarted the level and ran through it again. I'm going to try again tommorow, and if that doesn't work try to find a different disc and see if my disc might have an error and not my file. Does't take long to play, but I really don't want to play the whole thing over again.

Completed Retail: 10/43

Completed XBLA: 3/9

GS Completion %: 47.64%

Total Score: 21560 / 45255

Total Achievements: 745 / 1543

Not to shabby. I finished up Call of Juarez, major props to Techland for fixing glitched achievements. Next on my agenda is, TMNT, King Kong, College Hoops 2k6, Crackdown, Uno. All those games are like 1-5 achievements away from being completed, so going to do those, and hope that puts me over 50%. :)

I wish that was available for PAL for the easy boost :(

Okay I haven't done anything on that list. I got Crackdown and Uno laying around but haven't been bothered to pick up TMNT, King Kong, College Hoops 2k6 to finish them out. Currently been playing DMC4, COD4, GH II. And that's about it. I'm close to finishing COD4 so I guess that's looking like my next 1000, only need 6 more MP levels to be 55 then I can stop playing MP as much as I am.

Finally beat GHII on medium, still got to 5 star some songs, and hopefully by then using the blue button will be like second nature so I can move into hard, and start using that dreaded orange button. I'll also keep playing DMC4, fun game. I'm currently working on the secert missions/'S' rankings on human ATM. Slow work trying to get an 'S' rating. It's hard. I might just say screw it and start Devil Hunter so I can unlock Bloody Palace.

I bought Two Worlds, which should be here sometime next week or week after. So I'll probally put all my other games on hold for a good minute as I play that, and attempt those achievements.

Edit: Post 1000!!

    • Never had a problem with TPM and started using that many years ago in Win10. Through several motherboards and OS versions, it just does what it does without complaint. My games library doesn't even know it's there. Secure boot does a lot more than support anti-cheat, as it came along long before anti-cheat software. I've used it religiously since before I started using TPM, and I always liked it for being able to nullify virus contagions that try their best to come in underneath the firmware during boot, so that the OS doesn't see them, etc. That is its purpose, imo. I'll never understand why people who elect to use another OS feel compelled to run down Windows... I guess they need to do that to feel secure about their choices? I run Windows because it supports all the software (including games) natively that I want to buy, and I've never had to run down another OS to make me feel better about it. (Although it's certainly possible to do that, of course...) Win10 is on a ventilator atm, and Win11 is very close to being free, and I finally got to stop running StartAllBack as I moved to the Experimental/Dev channel and my 26300.8553 build supports the moveable taskbar and it's running fine at the top of the screen! Finally, my last major dislike of Win11 is being rectified! So, I'm not at all surprised to see Win11's share of the Steam survey hitting 70%.
    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
    • Everything they say you can already do yourself on the registry by changing some things.
    • Artist's renderings are so much nicer to view than the real thing, don't you think?
