had entertained buying need for speed undercover...why is it bad?

maybe 150K is a bit optimistic then, but let's give it a shot. i'll be at the break room sipping on the Kool Aid.

Undercover is decent, I borrowed a friend's PS3 copy and tried it out. It's fun, and pretty decent looking. The story line is unnecessary and boring, but the racing is fast and crazy. The controls could be tighter, the cars all feel pretty looose to me, but it's not a deal breaker. It's a good game for gamefly, and I did add it to my queue after trying it out.

I was trying to hit 43K by the end of the year but I'm starting to lose steam. Closing in on 1000 for Fallout 3, that took a minute. I'm getting sucked into Far Cry 2 finally, but that game is slow going for achievements. Dead Space should provide an easy 400-500 but that game is just boring me to death. Same issue with Tomb Raider, that series just doesn't do it for me anymore. I just impulse bought Banjo Kazooie off of amazon after 360fanboy advertised the $26 deal so that should be another few hundred. I might still make it.

yeah slane that's a bit awkward i know. this is what you get for not having your priorities straight

i got let go. **** this economy :(

so i got alot of free time, especially since i'm out of school soo maybe i crank out 30k by end of year.....

that's right DM, and don't forget to pull the dagger out of our backs as a final courtesy.

slane, didn't you just start this job and buy lots of stuff? what gives?

EDIT: and who's this neyo character? you're one elusive dude let me tell you that!

last one in, first one out is really true. :(

Well hopefully Obama can clean up after this Bush as effectively as Clinton cleaned up after the last one. My company is taking a hit also, fortunately we're a pretty small corp and haven't had to make any cuts yet. My sympathies on losing your job. I hope you find something even better soon.

don't think it's really up to the new administration, we need the panic to subside quick so hires can climb back up. you'll be fine slane, i'm sure, we'll be reliving the late 90's before you know it. i miss that life, and to think back then i scoffed at it and thought the narrator from Fight Club was cool. oh how we grow up.

not one to boast usually, but this time i must make an exception - i did it! 30K by the end of the year! hahahahha didn't think i could, but it happened, and to mark the occasion, i've temporarily changed my gamerpic to the kudos achievement from PGR4...anyway, good job to everyone else, and i noticed Vykranth passed 35K! this is great stuff.

    • They are neither of those things They cause virtually zero issues to end users as when leveraged correctly they are invisible. They aren't 'DRM', because, they're nothing to do with DigitalRightsManagement Some Anti-Cheat services I did see are starting to *use* the TPM to store creds/tokens, which it's for, but it's not involved beyond that. I would suggest doing some reading, both articles are fairly lengthy, but for MS Learn they're actually pretty decent at explaining the concepts.
