happy new year to one and all, and hopefully we'll recover from all the booze and post-holiday depression soon.

welcome to all those who joined, your contribution is much appreciated.

and many thanks to my friend vyk for the great post above...also congrats on making your 35K mon ami!

but, are we sure we passed the 3 mill goal in time? or was it a bit later? as for the 125K, good job at any rate, but it wasn't the goal i set. i had 150K i mind...then went down to like 130K. but this one will have to do!!

at any rate, the last three months were great, we did a lot of gaming, and in fact still wrapping up the holiday bunch with the last two levels of Dead Space. i think the season will live in our memories for some time to come. we even managed to recruit a fair amount of new meat for the grinder.

and yes, i believe we made it without resorting to insipid tactics like Avatar, although many of us have some shameful moments to keep in the old closet - like TMNT and King Kong for some of you...myself, much like Rookas, my only moment of weakness was Fight Night 3 but it took me a month and it was a great game! shame there won't be another one for now.

ok guys, happy 2009 again and keep em coming, more people needed so spread the word!

Well we passed it a little before 3PM CDT (CDT is -6:00 GMT), so...

ok then mathachew, it should be good then. and congrats on the 20K.

and what do you mean i got bashed, underoath? plus, what's with the privacy settings? disclosure is key.

I mean like people saying we wouldn't be able to do it. I'll fixed the privacy stuff.

heh heh yeah let us see the truth!

and true, some guys said my goals were unrealistic..and they were 100% right! there's no way we could have made 150K. but obviously the leaderboard is becoming more and more popular, we grew by like ten members in a week!

Hit 54 K today after finishing all of the single player achievements for Quantum of Solace!

Gamefly just shipped that to me, I'll probably get it Monday. Should break 43 with that. The game looks like it might be a nice fun quick campaign, perfect for a rent.

****, sorry about the car - what kind was she? anyway, as long you're ok and get to game another day...

Just a little VW Lupo. The insurance company will probably just write it off due to the cars age, which is a shame considering I'm skint.

But on the plus side, my gaming time over the next few weeks should increase due to the lack of mobility. Shame it's due to such lame circumstances :(

VW Lupo...not even sure what that is! well, time for new wheels my friend, and not just in PGR4. but i'm sure you'll miss the car, i get really attached to them, they're like people to me. more so sometimes...

  • 2 weeks later...
If you wouldn't mind adding me to the list, some reason I can't find an "add gamertag"button :p.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
