are you people all sleeping on the job? haven't gamed myself in over a week, but trust you me when i come back it'll be full throttle muhahahahaha.

and jonny, how's your mono doing?

A little better, back to work next week :(

I've been pounding the achievements. Almost near 11,000 now. Although Killzone 2 will put a stop to 360 gaming for a while I imagine.

good luck with that, how far off are you? i'm jealous of all you gaming people, and eagerly await my comeback! there will be so much to catch up with...FEAR 2, Lost and Damned, Halo Wars...

FEAR 2 is sick. I haven't read any reviews so I'm not sure what the word is on it but I played it, beat it and loved it. Every bit as creepy as the first, probably more so. It was a bit easy though, i'm gonna start over on the highest difficulty soon. It's decent for achievements, got around 300 or so beating it normal and finding most of the collectables. I haven't tried Lost & Damned yet, still haven't even finished the main gta storyline yet. It's been on the back burner for a long time now.

Hit 58 K last night. My word that NBA: HomeCourt is a bloody awful game. How anyone could enjoy playing it is completely beoynd me! The single player is also insanely difficult [for me at least, it's supposed to be an easy thousand!]. I just can't seem to beat the computer, it is seriously frustrating. Oh well I will give it till wednesday, then its going back to lovefilm. Hoping to get hold of H.A.W.X. on friday!

Slowly nearing the 40000 points barrier, points after points, achievements after achievements. Just 2400 points left.

FEAR 2 is probably the most well modelled game I have ever played to date: the environments are just luxurious and beautiful. The storyline does not break records but there were times when he made me jump.

Rookas and Vyk: thanks for the FEAR 2 input, now i'm more eager than ever to finally get my hands on it! Vyk you can be at 40K by the end of the month if all goes well.

congrats to D and Rob on their GS milestones, too!

Vyk you can be at 40K by the end of the month if all goes well.

That would imply somehow that I do increase my score of 30 points per game session I am currently averaging and that I keep L4D of the shelf, even if the 53595 zombie achievement is tempting. It's not that I do not have a truckload of game to complete, I just don't have the time and there is House, M.D. on TV this evening.

Besides, I am rather glued to the 15th place: RatherLargeBear is roughly 1000 points ahead and Colinisgod is 2000 points behind so my motivation suffers from the lack of a close goal.

No, the interesting part is the top two guys: not only Shreik and Misticalx have breacked 90K points but Shreik has overtaken Misticalx

Come on, guys, it's time to pay the drinks.

i'm so honored that for all my efforts around here no one has noticed that i've been offline for almost three weeks due to work and stuff! i've dropped several places and expect to be out of the top 25 soon. such is life. but when i come back, there will be hell for all you slackers to pay.

as for you vyk, you're still playing L4D? is it that good in your book? i mean, enjoyed it for a little while, but that was that.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
