don't look at me  not a fan of Reach by a long shot...i'd say find an easier game to be your first 1000. it is true you owe it to yourself to have at least one of those on your record. mine's Fight Night 3 heh heh, there's no shame in the easy ones.

I could rent King Kong, but I like a challegelaugh.gif

Avatar is the only true gamerscore no-no/taboo...it's just embarassing to be seen with that thing on your record. otherwise, the other games are fine, played King Kong on a friend's 360 and it's a cool game with some good visuals and a decent-sized campaign that's fun to go through. and it's a guaranteed 1K! go for it if you can still find it...

You should rent Advatar that's a challenge - a two minute challenge.

Yeah try 30 seconds , I was curious to see that was it really that easy. Someone told me it takes 5 min to get 1000, I said ok what's to lose and after playing it for 30 sec I realized what I've lost...... my freaking 30 SECONDS.

congratulations Howard - BTW when did you join the leaderboard? as for the games, i think only Avatar is really taboo around here, so you're fine...

I joined a while back, but for some reason my score isn't reflected properly on MGC. TrueAchievements is fine.

On MGC it says to simply boot up the missing games to update the score. However, most of the missing ones were rentals :(

strange, some people have problems with MGC, i've been fine with it for the most part. the TA one never added me. but anyway, when i talk about the leaderboard i always mean the MGC one...i don't see you on it, Howard. unless i missed something.

but Darkfiber posts! it's been ages, welcome back. you're also not on the MGC leaderboard unless you're using a different name...

 What about Fallout 3 (PC) takes 5mins for that game also :p

i'm confused...is this bizarro world? you want to tell me the ynnoj on the leaderboard isn't THE ynnoj? ditto for you darkfiber, what is your gamertag on the leaderboard as we know it in this dimension and universe?

lol, how many clues do you need? I keep giving you my rank and score

IT'S A MADHOUSE! even Slane doesn't want to be Slane anymore! what's wrong with you people!

as for jonny, what the hell are you talking about you're not ynnoj? what kind of lunacy is this? i know for a fact you ARE ynnoj!

Sure it's me. But if you look closely, my tag is ynnnoj.

I'm on there, currently number 41

cool, thanks for letting me know Howard, 41 is pretty good, but time to climb up.

    • Thanks for liking it! 😊 That's Arch Linux with Gnome.
    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
