Malawi...man i had to look that place up online, i kid you not...it's been years since i've thought of the name, let alone actually read about it. are you sure you want to be there for over three months? no disrespect intended.

please don't...Brink is not good from what i've seen and heard. trade those two in for something else, like LA Noire.

as for Malawi, hey i'm all about random locations myself, but gaming is one comfort i won't willingly go without...any chance of continuing while there?

Brink isn't bad. I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Wish the lag would go away online though. It's Homefront all over, but without dedicated servers. Though If I only had to get one game between Brink and LA Noire I'd take Noire. :)

no, we just enjoy it and get it - it was supposed to make gaming more involving and fun, and it has succeeded. i don't think either of us is hardcore when it comes to points. i've been playing more and more titles on the PC and now PS3, when i could do em on the 360 for the points...but that's not the, erm, point of it all, they're just really fun and deep if you truly want to enjoy gaming. ditto for trophies.

EDIT: hey Rob, there's no way you could take your 360 with you there?

Fallout 3 for the PC and it's addons are all 50% this week. GFWL DotW.

It's takes all bout 5 minutes to snag all the points in the game.

In Fallout 3 (PC), there is a simple exploit that players can use to obtain all achievements within 5-10 minutes. While at the main menu, click the ?~? button. This will create a command. Type out ?addachievement1? through ?addachievement72? and all achievements will unlock, from Vault 101 Citizenship Award(#1) to Alien Archivist(#72).

Take from the guide at x360a.

Doesn't that sort of cheating get your gamer score reset?

Doesn't that sort of cheating get your gamer score reset?

Nope. It's completely acceptable as it's a flaw in the game rather than an external hack. Cheat codes in some games even allow you to unlock achievements - you are actually given achievements in Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway for using the cheat codes.

is there a proper single player campaign? i will probably get this when it's cheap, been buying too many lately as it is.

There is, but they suck. Not kinda of good, just sucky.

They did change up the playlists to make it a tad bit less laggy though. Haven't played, but going to tommorow. Need to win on one of the maps for the last two achievements, just can't figure out which one.

heh heh yes. they've tempted me Rob, i've been evilified! save my soul! trophies are just not the same (especially since i can't sync them right now due to Sony shunning me from opening a new account). shun, shun the non-360 gamers! shuuuunnnn!

    • They themselves used AI slop to convert its C++ codebase to Rust. But I do agree with their concerns.
    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
