yeah i checked, but will try again. it won't take my password even though i definitely remember it, and it won't send me a confirmation email to change the password...it keeps telling me i'm already logged in, but at the same time i'm not  this is weird.

slane loves this thing...he swears by it. it gives you a "real" gamescore based on how rare or difficult the achieve is. no idea who does the math on it, but i just look at the actual gamerscore. and yours is still too low!

Mine has crossed 5K on true achievements, but my xbox just was recieved on the xbox repair status side of things, it still has these stages left, 'repair in progress','repair completed','console shipped back'...

i don't count that as actual gamerscore...but nice turnaround on your console, that's like one week door to door. pretty fast.

Yeh, don't quite recognize TA's GS as actual GS, Probably one week door to door, especially since the console has been shipped back as of Friday, so Monday is the earliest I'll see it. :)

So I'm finding the downside of playing as a completionist. I don't wanan play any of the games I got left. LAN was/is a great game, but I can't bring myself to finish it (though I need to, i'm like 3 missions away and 3 cars). Brink, I still have that annoying achievement to win on all maps. Thinking Imma leave my box on when I leave for work today, and just let it play through continuously and hopeful whatever team I'm put on, I'll win. PSU was fun online, but fairly certain I don't want play through the SP, though it shouldn't take long.

I gotta suck it up, so I can pass Neo.

Got the full 1,200 on L.A. Noire, just got the other 200 points to get when the release the next DLC's the second of which will be when i'm in Africa so i'll have to play it in September.

Duke Nukem Forever is a pile of sh*t.

I'm upto 103,727 so close to 104k might hit it tomorrow.

hey slane, you knew the risks when you decided to go for a completionist approach. it means playing through stuff that isn't necessarily fun. i'd advise against it in the case of Brink, that sounds like a lot of bother. you're completion rate is already impressive, leave it be.

Rob - Duke isn't that bad! at least you got the points out of it, i'm playing it on PC! when are leaving for Africa?

I'm off Friday. Going to try and finish of LAN, and maybe progress further in JC2 or try to get that last Brink cheevo. Haven't decided, but I am going to finish LAN at least.

edit: 3000 posts :)

hey Rob, that's coming up, and Turkey along the way! i'll be on the road myself and out of internet coverage for a while, so let me take this opportunity to wish you safe travels and all the best!

slane, make the most of that Friday...let's see if you can beat my 70K finally after so long heh heh

many congrats on your 5K my friend, nicely done. why did you change you name, i liked SteelToast.

The only reason I changed my name on Neowin is because SteelToast and Steel Toast were already taken on xbox live, ok so i'll keep my name here in neowin SteelToast then. (I got the gamertag change for free btw since my name was in it, just had to call microsoft support and talk to them 'nicely' to get the job done)

    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
