To celebrate my 5K mark in Gamerscore, I changed my GamerTag on xbox live and Display Name here on neowin

Neowinians, please feel free to add me...

Are u from Brazil? I'll add you tonight.

Everyone, feel free to add me too!

My gamertag: Thomazi13

Been quiet on the gaining-achievements front as I'm working hard to get the Solid Gold achievement (Get Gold in all events) in Forza 3. Got about 23 more championships to go, not bad considering I had 39 championships to do a a day and half ago...

I WILL finish that damn game!

Not from brazil, my avatar is wearing my avatar avatar award which I recently acquired from my Cars 2 Video Game, (helps when you got a public library where you can freely rent out xbox games;))

Sent you a friend request, and welcome to neowin as neoadorable said :)

Thanks! But I wish games were cheaper here anyway hahaha

It's about some stupid taxes... For example yesterday a friend bought Assassin's Creed for the equivalent to 37 USD!

I know some people can find 37USD cheap, but only if u live in a place that u get paid in USD hahah here 1USD = 1.6 Reais, so = expensive

I have heard that Australia too, charges an excruciatingly high amount of money for video games :( , piracy could be reduced if these prices were a bit low, also in the Middle East (where I used to live) the shopkeepers would give you the option to hack your xbox, and preload pirated games on it stuff, and if you wanted to buy more new xbox games, the pirated version would be around 75-80c each... I never bought my xbox in the middle east, came to canada and bought it only because there was no warranty on xbox's sold in the middle east.

Yeah i'm 23 points away from 104,000 GamerScore, that is my target before I have to leave the country next week, should be pretty achievable. I'll just do a couple more levels on Duke Nukem.

If you or one of your friends have transformers dark of the moon, 25 GS achievements come in the first 5 mins of playing single player campaign...

Heh thanks :D

Think I'll give the 360 a rest until tomorrow. Red Dead Redemption have a quadruple XP weekend going on so shall join in on that fun and try and get some missing achievements for it! Also working on Assassin's Creed when I can be bothered too...

    • Nah. They'll milk the current generation in terms of design - controllers, consoles, but no meaningful hardware improvements. This is one reason why people aren't buying Xbox hardware - it's stagnant.
    • Funny, but I didn't had the issue. All PC's at work are Dell and we had the culprit version of Support Assist for about 2 weeks until we got the new one. No problem at all. And for checking you can also use Dell Command Update, no need to search in windows settings. Just check the Upgrade History.
    • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS
