despite my personal misgivings about it since i lead a cross-border lifestyle, i liked Black Ops. it's the best COD since COD2 and if you like shooters with nice presentation, a decent if somewhat cliched story and really addictive MP, then you should def get it. it's just that Treyarch geo-lock their DLC, so make sure your console and account are always in the same IP region...no Black Ops for you if you go to visit family in the mideast, for example.

tazzeh - never really got into RDR MP, didn't seem like a lot of fun.

hey tazzeh, check my gamertag/gamercard, it shows everything. right now on the 360 my main games are FEAR3 and Fight Night Champion, but will also be replaying Vanquish soon. next game to be picked up for the 360 ought to be Call of Juarez the Cartel.

Toast - better get that Gold renewed, you can find some good deals, even via the official Xbox site.

Will do, just waiting to play dungeon seige 3, hold is almost ready for pickup at library, so once I finish that, I'll renew gold, get black ops...

the campaign is actually quite good, but maybe you're too young and too Canadian to appreciate the Cold War references  it's a solid, very honest campaign that does what it does and that's all it does, if you know what i mean. the MP is awesome addictive, as usual for COD games

Possibly but even then i'll only play MP for a while to come...

don't feed the anti-gaming crowd...you're not killing anyone. you're playing with other people, not killing. there's no actual violence taking place.

lol I know, I know, was just trying to make it sound 'dramatic' besides why would the anti-gaming crowd be lurking in the Gamers' Hangout section, shouldn't they just boycott it or am I missing something?

TF2...pfff

at any rate my friends, it's time to declare our GS goals for the remainder of the year again...you have until that magical night of Dec 31 to complete them...ooh can't wait for the holidays!

mine is 78K...i'd go for 80K but that feels to ambitious for me, plus at the rate i'm going even 78K will be tough. let us know your goals! i'll hold you to them.

PS: steeltoast, your goal is 10K. it has been decided. proceed.

    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
