Whistler server beta 2 - IIS error

I am having a IIS specific error with Whistler Server Beta 2

1. Web Admin Service

Event ID: 7023/1332

error msg: no Mapping Between Account Names and Security IDs

If anyone is having this same error or has whistler server beta 2 up and running successfully contact me asap.

That is a very common error in 2K / XP when trying to do something after you rename your account. Try logging off / rebooting maybe?

tried that already. the fact is, I never changed and user names, I was still administrator

hey dude... i think you're usin the reset2 crack or somethin, are ya not? reset2 makes IIS almost unusable... you can get IIS to work, but in a very annoying way, which I don't think is worth the trouble... try usin the reset 3 crack and it'll be all good (i hope) =p

Oh, and there is no beta 3... RCs started comin out after beta 2.

Apache's source is right there in the open. Finding an unchecked memory buffer on the stack to exploit should be even easier than with IIS. Except if you were a "1337 ha><0r" who'd you rather shaft? Microsoft or everyone's beloved Linux?
