Ubuntu 6.0.6, wireless networking help

Ok so i've just switched from XP to ubuntu it is now my os on my pc must say im liking it so far, I need help with setting up a wireless network connection to my router the card i am using is a Belkin F5D7000UK i believe or it could be the F5D70001UK pretty sure it's the second one it's detecting the card and and in the ubuntu wiki it does say it is supported but yeah i am a n00b so i need a shove in the right direction.

thanks for the links kreuger but i have'nt been able to get anywhere with them, should i just go for the "ndiswrapper" way of getting it to work or by tring to get the driver for the card from a windows cd or from the disc that i got with the card?

now im having trouble getting ndiswrapper to install i dont have a clue what to do, i think that to install it you have to do it via commands in the terminal but im not getting no where,

i've read all over the web about how to get ndiswrapper working but all the guide's are just not very well written if someone could show me how to do it i would appreciate it, i've been at this all day

i have the .sys and .inf file's that i need

Install ndiswrapper:

sudo apt-get install ndisgtk ndiswrapper-utils
