I have a friend coming in from Singapore in November. He's a huge Chelsea fan and wants to see the Chelsea v West Ham game on 18Nov06. Not being a season ticket holder or member, he's having a hard time getting hold of tickets. The internet sites selling tickets are exorbitant, so are there any other alternatives? If he did try to get some off the scalpers at the game, how much would you expect he would have to pay?

The thing is, Chelsea have been ripping off their fans for years. They were the most expensive ground for tickets even before they were good.

I'm not sure how big a Chelsea fan he is either. To state the truth, nobody from those countries even knew about Chelsea until recently. So hardly massive.

All in all, you probably won't get a ticket, especially for that game, as it's a derby I think.

Yeah its a derby...As a West Ham fan its another loss in preparation but as for the tickets they might sell them a few days before from the actual gate other then that its auction site maybe or a dedicated Chelsea Fan site...

I've got no idea how much they'd be from scalpers, but like everyone has said they'll be hard to get. I managed to get Fulham v Chelsea tickets for the other week behind the goal for 35 quid but my Dad has a season ticket so I'm not sure what the chances are you will be able to pick any up at the gate without one. Good luck though, it'd be great for your friend to see them play if he's come all that way.

      Sued and... exonerated. Oh, they learned a lesson alright.       The consumer ESU is ending in 4 months. LTSC isn't now, never has been, and never will be for consumer use, it is for OT usage - plant machinery, medical devices, manufacturing equipment etc. LTSC requires a Microsoft EA. You can't legally obtain LTSC to run on your PC at home.
