List Your Overclocks..

Yeah that is a little hot, and I'm betting that's just the Socket temperature. The Diode sensor would be quite a bit higher as much as 10 degrees. Samoa, I suggest you get MBM 5 and try to get a reading from the CPU Diode sensor, it's great that you got an extra 200MHz from the 3200+ but at those te,ps you need extra cooling or a good heatsink.

My Overclock:

Barton 1.84GHz (2500+) @ 2.2GHz (3200+)

Kingston HyperX 2x256MB pc3200

Nice one Samoa... but aint yer CPU a little hot... and yer CPU Fan RPM is 0 ha:p :p

It's the Vantec Aeroflow...my board doesn't read it most of the time, but with the case open I can clearly see the fan blades moving. And the sensors aren't displaying the correct temp either. I have yet used my laser themometer to verify temps at 2.4ghz. At 11x200, it is still pretty close to those temps in that pic, but in actuality the temps are around 38C. For the Chipset and Cpu.

I am waiting for a fan set to come. Once it does I will mount it to blow on the board where it gets pretty hot, and with an upgrade in my ram i will OC it to 2.4ghz and beyond...up to 2.6ghz maybe..

P4 1.8A @ 3.06GHz aircooled @ 1.75V ... now it's at 2.8GHz default voltage because I don't think the extra voltage is worth the 200MHz speed gain I won't even notice ;) ... watercooled it reaches 3.2GHz :)

It is a B-stepping one ... not the C's that do 3GHz from the box or the even sweeter D's :p ...

Well, I just confirmed it. For the most part. Currently, my system is OC'ed to the 2.4ghz 420fSB 1.85v and it is for the most part keeping much kooler, even during game play. I think it isn't completely stable yet due to the ram and the limitation of this board. I can't seem to run a higher vcore. Either of which would surely put me stable, and possibly allow me to run even higher.

So until I get better ram this it, as it appears. :D

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I did get those fans today, they really don't blow as hard as I would like, but they do a good job. So I have a total of 7fans in my case keeping it kool. :cool:

New here, but i think i'll like it... :shifty:

Pentium MMX : 166 -> 200

AMD K6-2 : 450 -> 500

AMD K6-2+ : 450 -> 550 (whoops, core voltage too high, black screen, CPU worked for 3 minutes :x )

Pentium 4 : 1,8 Ghz -> 2,1 Ghz

Pentium 4 : 3,06 Ghz (fast enough, reached 3,3 Ghz but CPU becomes tooo hot (+70?C when playing Unreal tournament) so back to normal)

Great discussion centers here

greets

I just broke 8000+ in PCMark2002. (Y).

I skipped the Hard Drive Test.

P4 2.4C @ 3.3GHz (2.5-3-3-7) @ 5:4 Memory @ 440Mhz (AIR COOLING)

Its amazing how much money overclocking saves you! My System is completely Stable. I have not raised the vCOre on my proc which basically does not make the processor last less. Using ThermalTake Spark 7 HSF.

lol dont laugh i was just bored.. tho i ran sandra when i was runnin wmp9 and a few toehr things so that score is a little bogus

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
    • eh I'll wait for the June 2026 MVS ISO downloads which should be coming out next Tuesday June 16 and possibly contain build 8655 instead of 8653
