What do you use to check the temperature of your graphic card processor?

Load at high 40's? That must be a lie. Typically, the idle is equal or higher than that.

Athlon Mobile 2500+

FSB: 233

Multiplier: 10.5

Voltage: 1.844

Cooling

Heatsink: Si-97

Fan: Thermoflow 92mm (replacing with a panaflo soon)

Temps:

Idle: 49c

Load: 55c

note: temps are so high because the shoddy thermoflow refuses to run at more than 1700rpm!! with my old tornado temps were considerably cooler)

Gfx Card:

Geforce 6600gt

Core: 598

Mem: 1.2ghz

The vcore limit for most athlons is actually 2.0 ;) (on paper anyways) but most would suggest not jumping it as high as 1.9....

I'd probably experiment with dropping it a little maybe 1.8-1.85 even 1.75 to see if it still runs stable

Regardless , a nice oc you've got there (Y)

Cyrilix: What the hell are you talking about?

585124910[/snapback]

The x800 XT PE temperatures. It might be different on different sensors, but typically people report that they reach 70-80 at load. I'm not very experienced at what programs to use to detect temps, but I can't doubt what I've seen.

Naturally, you might say, they are using an X800 XT, but this one is overclocked way past XT PE. Anyway, if you guys think it's possible, tell me how you've achieved it and what program you are using to detect the temps, but 40 some at load just boggles the mind.

Edit: Well, I found a site where it was claimed that temps dropped to 50. Maybe I'm just wrong. *shrug*

well, this is my little gem :p

mobo: MSI 865PE Neo2

main memory: 2*256 ddr pc3200 @dual channel

temps: idle: 33'C

high load: 42'C =>running doom3 or call of Duty or editing with blender and photoshop a same time

Cooling: heatsink build in copper by myself

fan: I catch one motor of sunflower :p

case: build by myself aluminum and plexiglass w=290mm, length=570mm, height=660mm

internal fans: unnecessary

lights: none I don't like <already have one into chipset anyway>

color: black

Graphic card: LOL  I forget overclock it, but is one poor gfx5200 128mb

works like a charm  (Y)

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Anno 117, Final Fantasy VII, Rematch, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games Store's mystery giveaways may have ended, but its regular freebies didn't miss a step this week. The double drop was for copies of Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks and The Ouroboros King. Speed Freeks lands for multiplayer racing fans, but with plenty of competitive shooting elements too. You will be piloting Ork buggies, tanks, and aircraft modeled after the popular tabletop miniatures while trying to complete objectives and pass finish lines. Next, Ouroboros King is a crossover between chess and tactical roguelikes, offering the chance to create your own army with special rules to beat incoming foes on the board. The double giveaway on the Epic Games Store will be available until June 11, and replacing it will be Citizen Sleeper and ROBOBEAT. The Humble Store brought a new charity bundle to check out this week too. Landing with the name The Complete Inkle Library, this is a large collection of interactive narrative puzzle games from the publisher Inkle. This begins with Heaven's Vault, four parts from the Sorcery series, 80 Days, Overboard, and Pendragon: Narrative Tactics within the starting tier for $9. Hopping up a step to the $12 tier gets you TR-49, Expelled, and A Highland Song for paying at least $12. If you go for the $20 tier, you get four e-books from the Heaven's Vault series. • When will the Photos app be updated to remember the window size and position when reopened? They addressed this issue in a 2024 version of the app (though I can't recall the build number). Unfortunately, after that specific version, the problem persists! Please prioritise this fix in your K2 schedule. Additionally, the Snipping Tool has lost the ability to capture the Windows Taskbar starting from the 2024 version!
