what do you think of the new aim B2 UI?

I personally don't like it. to munch sliver and orange. What they should do is create a theme pack. may be have 3 themes included in every aim installation and offer more via aim.com.

i did submit some feedback about this to aol, hopefully they will get enough complaints that they will improve it.

but I have to say this is alot better then yahoo. yahoo's UI is only 2 years old and is already showing age. Hopefuly in their 9th verson that will be updated.

but ya what are your thoughts on this?

I voted for "it's alright, but still needs work". I think little bit more work wouldn't hurt.

what was the deal with aim triltion. was the past triltion versons a "beta" or "alpha" of the new aim 6.0? the last verson of "aim" was 5.9 so we would be heading to 6.0....

anyone want to help me with this question?

I think a color chooser like in WLM for that ugly orange color would be nice (a bluish color would probably look better). Other than that, it looks alright.

i think it looks good. but the title bar at the top could use some work. i think it looks a lot rougher than the new smoother graphics and gradients. and the round top corners of the windows and the borders on the windows at the top looks pretty rough and bad.

the bottom circle buttons need work

and i also think a nice color chooser like in wlm would be awesome.

the buddy info window needs some work. it looks pretty slapped together and not very professional looking. the gradients keep clashing with each other.

the formatting toolbar needs major work. less lines, less cramped togetherness, and thicker

overall i think this is a great step in the right direction. love the new top status changer and the new highlight color for the buddy list and the new buttons esp in the IM window on the bottom. great job

true, but beta 1 was almost like triltion, minus the close minimized and maxamized buttons.... and we are geting closer to the final with beta 2. so....
