MSN is imho the best out of all. It isn't loaded with useless features and a bunch of exploitable ones like the warning system in AIM.

Though I use GAIM most of the time, actually. I still use WLM because I like the feature that it was able to give, especially after using Mess.be :p. People annoying you? Nudge the crap out of them >.>.

GAIM I use for Yahoo and AIM and other services.

I've been using Gaim for years and it's my top choice. The new Beta version lacks a few features (the only one I REALLY miss is the CTRL+# for smilies), but it's still a good choice.

If you're using Windows, make sure to look for the plugin to remember the placement of the windows. Otherwise, it's maddening to use Gaim.

gaim is good if youve got lots of friends on differnt systems. of the 'original' programs i like wlm most, easily :cool:

I use Miranda to chat with ICQ, MSN, Yahoo accounts.

No ads, small, low on resources (invisible :D), customizable, free... definitely one of the best :cool:
