November 06 Release - Where are DL links

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys. Just notice November 06 has just released to the public but where are the download links on your AP and Neowin page.

Hopefully I will get it before i will leave a for a friend of mine within the next 4 hours. With a slow connection 200,000 viruses All from Limewrire (2 programs) 228k and 768K which distrubute to a hidden _ folder which was murder to remove. 3,000 adware and spyware,  crashing and slowing the system. Visual Basic programming to load and change and delete programs, changing default web page.

They were nasty viruses , not able to remove them

Just revamped the system re-installed xp and backed it with true image

Lets hope Win x64 has the Nov 06 full Update

Thanks

No, he was careless with his internet connectivity. Once double clicking on the files it create extra files and renames them automatically. Had to reformat the hdd from scratch

The release hasn't been given to mirrors yet, so you'll have to wait for that to happen before a release thread is put up :)

Shouldn't the mirrors get it from the torrent?

Why doesn't it all run from a torrent?

Help save bandwidth, always use a torrent.

It's uploaded to one main HTTP mirror and all of the other mirrors grab it from there, including me (and I do the torrents) :)

don't expect the november release for at least a couple of days. sorry it's taking so long this month but firstly i though raptor was doing it but it's been passed back to me so i'm starting a week later than usual, and secondly theres a hell of a lot to do this month.

oh and fyi for those that don't know, the progress bar at the top of the forum is just a php script that basically guesses, theres no manual over-ride built in, so i'm sorry that it says 'released' when it really isn't. perhaps we'll have to try and improve on this somehow...

there will most likely be full & lite releases this month btw!

Just something to add for those who have had issues, these past couple of months have been a bit of a hellish situation with me and hosts and servers. But now I've finally found a place to stay for a very long time on a server that's top-of-the-line. There shouldn't be any more downtime or slowness issues so I'll always be able to mirror the AP releases on a fast connection (and yes I still have my 6TB of bandwidth to use). Thanks for your patience (for those having issues). :-)

More information and server specs can be found here: http://forums.littlbuger.info/index.php?topic=55.new#new

.... and there we sat.... watching the meter..... day after day.... hour after hour...minutes... then

.... 3... 2.... 1.....

HAPPY AUTOPATCHER RELEASE!!!!! :woot:

... all of us danced naked and threw confetti about as we lifted our champagne flutes to toast the occasion...

.... then... we realized we wouldn't have our beloved AutoPatchers Nov Release last night......

..... we put our clothes back on.... called our wives and significant others to come take us home..... :|

(on the way there, we were attacked and eaten by racoons).....

hi

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
    • What I can't seem to understand is that Google are paying SpaceX? Surely it would be the other way round, with SpaceX needing Google's datacenters etc.? Oh well, this level of money and power is way outside of my comprehension at the best of times.
    • "77ee94b helium/windows: winsparkle updater (built-in auto-update support on Windows" If that's what I think it is, that is about the only thing that's been missing from this excellent browser. I guess I'll find out the next time I'm on a Windows machine.
