November 06 Release - Where are DL links

It says it's out now, so where is it? Should be out when the site says it is. And if you can't get that right then fix your PHP script.

how about you fix your eyes and read what blaze has said?

as blaze has said, the image isn't accurate and so shouldnt be used to know when ap has been released

then whats the point of having a script at all if its not at all useful?

Alright, it was supposed to be out by now, we can see that. But due to the fact that raptor wasn't able to make the release and had to call on Blaze means that it is going to take more time. Blaze was on a vacation, he's human too. Have some patience and lose the attitude. These people are doing this project for you, give them a little slack. They aren't getting paid to do this, you know. They could stop making it. Then what? Stop crying about it and do something to support the project rather than complain about it.

did you even bother to read the posts above mine to see what i was replying too?

well here you go. i'll quote what i was replying too once again:

his comment was rude and uncalled for but i replied to it anyways asking him whats the point of having the script on the forum when it doesn't even work? If it's not something the devs update themselfs and just 'guesses' its pretty useless and I can guess myself as well.

i never complained that autopatcher november wasn't out yet, not once. i just asked what is the point of a script that doesn't even work?

i didn't mean to quote only you, i was addressing all of those who have complained about it or have not had the brains to look at the threads. to answer your question though, the image is a general indicator. if blaze was the one who was mainly working on the project rather than being called in later after his vacation, i'm sure we would have a release right now.

Geez .... Rude, impatient people! .... Unless you're donating money, time or bandwidth, you will have to be PATIENT. Or find your updates elsewhere perhaps :shifty: .... Maybe Mr Gates will let you have them for free :p

Bloody well said. We are very lucky to have people with time, knowledge etc to share so we can have this FREE SERVICE

Hooray for the folks with the Voice of Reason here! I for one, don't post here generally. Why? Because I realise this is a FREE service, of fantastic value, and it takes a considerable amount of time and patience.

The guys and gals who work on AutoPatcher give invaluable service to those of us not smart enough, or haven't the time to do it ourselves.

In my not so humble opinion, we should, of course, be able to politely ASK questions, but for goodness sake, Be thankful and congenial in the process? These people do NOT get paid for what they do. A little appreciation is in order from those who are doing so much complaining and snapping at one another.

My personal thanks to everyone who works on Neowin and AutoPatcher for all the great work you do! Life happens. I think we ALL can attest to that FACT.

I just could not, in good conscience, let this go by without having my say :-)

Well guys he has changed his status to almost ready  . This is great news on identifying when the official release of November edition of autopatcher.

Its ready when its ready. Much better getting a properly tested finished article than a Bill Gates rushed out full of holes monstrosity.

Lets face it - it is worth the wait.

May I suggest http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/ .

This site allows downloading of the monthly release of MS Updates much quicker than here - be aware however that some of the updates may require validation and the updates are nowhere near as comprehensive as AutoPatcher.

:)

Well guys just carried out a full blown update for MCE 2005 Nov 2006 and here is the log. There are 3 additonal software updates and WP11 included in the package but no indication of .net v3. Poss December update to include .net v3 WU site

    • Never had a problem with TPM and started using that many years ago in Win10. Through several motherboards and OS versions, it just does what it does without complaint. My games library doesn't even know it's there. Secure boot does a lot more than support anti-cheat, as it came along long before anti-cheat software. I've used it religiously since before I started using TPM, and I always liked it for being able to nullify virus contagions that try their best to come in underneath the firmware during boot, so that the OS doesn't see them, etc. That is its purpose, imo. I'll never understand why people who elect to use another OS feel compelled to run down Windows... I guess they need to do that to feel secure about their choices? I run Windows because it supports all the software (including games) natively that I want to buy, and I've never had to run down another OS to make me feel better about it. (Although it's certainly possible to do that, of course...) Win10 is on a ventilator atm, and Win11 is very close to being free, and I finally got to stop running StartAllBack as I moved to the Experimental/Dev channel and my 26300.8553 build supports the moveable taskbar and it's running fine at the top of the screen! Finally, my last major dislike of Win11 is being rectified! So, I'm not at all surprised to see Win11's share of the Steam survey hitting 70%.
    • I can answer about the Linux bit. I only used AMD GPUs. I currently have a 9060XT (8GB) that fits my needs, I'm not a gamer, so I don't need that much GDDR. But lately, NVIDIA has grown a lot in the recent years. Oh, the horrors of NVIDIA drivers not working. But they have been getting better. I know a lot of members onm here that are running cachyOS and other distros, and are fine with a 4090/5090 variants. Really, though, I would stick with AMD variants.
    • Everything they say you can already do yourself on the registry by changing some things.
    • Artist's renderings are so much nicer to view than the real thing, don't you think?
