Intel 82801ER SATA RAID Controller Vista Drivers

Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

First of all, sorry about my english, i know it isn't good.

Ok, here's the problem.

I have a P4P800-E DELUXE from ASUS, and i'm running RAID 0 setup at Intel RAID controller.

My controller is: " Intel 82801ER SATA RAID Controller "

I was looking for drivers, to load it during the Vista setup boot screen.

The main problem is, i found the updated driver at Intel's web page.

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df...?ProductID=2101

On that link, u can see it already have support for vista OS's. Now, the next link, confirm that it support Vista OS.

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df...on〈=eng

Now, look at read me.

http://downloadmirror.intel.com/df-support.../ENG/readme.txt

It shows this controllers as supported:

- Intel® 82801GH SATA AHCI Controller

- Intel® 82801FR SATA RAID Controller

- Intel® 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller

- Intel® 82801FBM SATA AHCI Controller

As all of u can see, seems my controller, in special, ins't supported.

How can i fix it ?? any chance ?

PS: Yes, i already tried load ALL of this drivers during Vista install, but none of em load my RAID controller.

Thx all and sorry about my english.

I've found that radi support in vbista is awful. Some builds were great, then the next build would refuse to install them. Are you using the RTM version? Cos if u r then check this wiv intel. It might be that the drivers worked during beta but are not compatible with the rtm version. U might have to wait until official January Release for your drivers, if they do bring them out. Is this a socket 478 board, cos this would mean it is older so they might not make vista drivers for it!

damn Puggsley,

that was sad to read. Yes, my mobo is a socket 478. Hope they delivery drivers for the RAID controller. I have other RAID controller at the same mobo (Promise Fast Track) but i'm not sure if it's Vista drivers ready for it or not, i'll give it a try.

And yes, i'm trying Vista RTM btw.

Thx for the help :o

I believe version 5.5 is the last one to support the 82801ER as it is based in the ich5r chipset, though not designed for vista i have ran it through most of the betas and currently fine on the rtm build without any issues so far (my motherboard is a gigabyte 8knxp)

2. The system must be running on one of the following

- Microsoft* Windows* XP Professional

- Microsoft* Windows* XP x64 Edition (NOTE 1)

- Microsoft* Windows 2000

- Microsoft* Windows* 2000 Advanced Server

Hi all,

I'm trying to install Vista RTM on my system with an Intel D875PBZ mb, which has the Intel 82801ER SATA RAID controller. I've tried downloading the Intel drivers, but the "ER" driver doesn't show up. I'm trying to find out if the 5.5 actually works on RTM. Do you have to do anything special? Thanks.

The Ultra 9 185H features 16 cores and 22 threads running at up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes a dedicated NPU utilizing Intel AI Boost at 11 TOPS. On the graphics front, the 185H includes the still fairly capable ARC Graphics (not to be confused with the newer ARC 140T) integrated GPU with a max GPU frequency of 2350 MHz across 8 Xe-cores. It has been said that the iGPU is equivalent to the NVIDIA GeForce 3050 and GTX 1650 in gaming and synthetic benchmarks. Other highlights include an AMOLED display, LPDDR5x memory at 7467 MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a fingerprint sensor built into the power button. AI PC? Although the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H includes a dedicated NPU, it's only 11 TOPS; therefore, it does not qualify as a Copilot+ PC. However, it can reach up to 33 TOPS with a combination of NPU, CPU, and GPU. As I said, although we only reviewed the X14 Pro, the unboxing is the same for the X16 Pro, which I noted in my review. The packaging is quite a nice experience. The outer box houses the X16 Pro box with a small compartment that contains the 5-in-1 Dock ($40 value), which appears to be an "Early Bird" inclusion. Upon removing the box cover, the X16 Pro is revealed sitting in a cardboard compartment with two small booklets of documentation. To the left of the X16 Pro are two cardboard compartments containing the 65W charger and Type-C USB cable.
