Looks good eh? :D

This is the first game I've been interested in. Resistance doesn't do it for me.

Only thing us Europeans have in our favour, a stronger release line up haha

** looks like IGN have had a new hands on as well: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/749/749979p1.html

The Mud Pool is easily the dirtiest track we tried with what must be thousands of gallons of slippery mud lining the bottom of the course. The environment does a nice job of showcasing MotorStorm's deformable terrain, with tires cutting through the crusty top layers of dirt to reveal the slick and wet mud below. Bikes and such will want to stick to the higher and drier ground, carefully hopping back and forth over the lower section.

Sounds lovely ;)

 That has got to be the most biased previews I've seen in my entire life. "This game has the most amazing crash scenes! Watch this!" *jaggy car moves slowly through the air* ...yea, that was amazing. I've seen better crash scenes in Burnout, thank you. The game really isn't that good looking, and no where near what Sony predicted it would look like. It looks like a fun game, but not a ground-breaking game. I don't know why people are so excited about it.

Yawn "this proves the Playstation 3 will become the winner of the console war" my ass. It doesnt look like anything that hasnt been done before.

You are my new best imaginary friend.

For once can't you appreciate a game without having to start something? So what if it has been done before? This game tries to take it to the next level.

We all know how you feel about Sony, and believe me, its just tiring to see the same thing over and over every time you post.

I could tell you about so many games in the Xbox and X360 that haven't brought something original to the industry, but still they take what they had to the next level (Halo and Halo 2 are the first examples).

Anyways, don't hate, just appreciate.

I agree Halo is overrated, as is Gears of War, all pretty graphics. I just dont think this game is as good as everyones making out.

Who is everyone? How good are they making it out to be?

So far most of the responses is it looks good, one person said it was boring. Nobody said it would be a great game, revolutionary, or one of the best games of all time except for maybe the narrator of the video. Your constant negativity towards Sony is getting old. It really is the same thing over and over and over like said before. Plus you always seem to reach for things that aren't there or that wasn't said and reply towards them. Everyone is not saying this is going to be a good game, thanks.

He's talking about the link to the review (as well as the video) in the original post. It makes what is admitedly a good game sound like the second coming. I mean, saying that this game is proof that the PS3 will win the console wars? C'mon...

You know, I understand the whole "Xbox fanboys are here ruining the PS3 party" thing but the PS3 fanboys also have to stop jumping down everyone's throat when something negative gets said. It's a two way street guys.

If he was talking about the guy in the link I could understand. He used the word everyone which would include everybody in this thread and other review sites where the reviews are not as positive. So if he was talking about the video then he needs to properly say that.

It's just every single Sony post Sheppard pops in to say something negative, most of the time it's exaggerated. It gets old.

It's also not jumping down somebody's throat anytime something negative get said. This game looks great visually but would become boring quickly. I can take negativity towards Sony. It's just the constant writings of a few people in most of the Sony threads saying the same things.

I think it looks great personally, Would of been better without the guy talking though :(

A racing game with cars on muddy hills etc, yes its been done before, Still looks pretty awesome though, especially from the inside car view thingy. (name anyone?)

I'll be buying it :D

It kinda reminds me of Smugglers Run in a weird way, that game I really enjoyed even with me constantly swearing at it :D

But I think we all need a group hug :p,if you don't like seeing others opinions, as biased as they can be, you can always put their name in your ignore list. :D

I used the word everyone as in the majority of people who think the game is the second coming in threads on neowin and on game sites around the internet.

Since when was a negative opinion wrong, its my view on the subject, just because you dont agree with it doesnt mean you can keep trying to badmouth me. It gets old.

Get over it, some people will have differing opinions to yourself, doesnt mean you can whine and complain about it and theres jack **** you can do to stop it.

People that are being negative are missing the point

This game is going to be fun as hell with friends ect. It's one of the first PS3 games with a half decent multiplayer prospect (with friends, online tournaments and what not). The ability to choose bikes, cars, quad bikes ect in the same race will add to the fun.... the scenery as well, mud and high speed racing mixed.

Right now theres not many fun games for the PS3, this will be one of the first.

Now as for saying other games have done this before gimme some examples? Not as I don't believe you but I honestly can't think of any myself. Most other racers confine you to the same vehicles or maybe cars and bikes.

It wont be the PS3's best game, but it will be a damn good one.

Where??? Got any proof where anyone says this is the second coming, great, revolutionary, ground breaking other than the narrator in the video. So far this thread has been more accurate, most people say it looks good, some say boring, nobody has said it will be a classic, revolutionary, second coming. Plus everyone doesn't mean majority of people, it means every one.

Looks incredible imo. Should be a lot of fun when it's released.

I'm admittedly becoming sick of it too, albeit the Xbox fan that I am, but I'm also pretty sick of seeing your pointless replies to his whiny posts. Ya wanna know how to make him stop? Stop replying to him. It's not like your replies are going to make him stop. I mean you've seen it over and over yourself. You reply, and then he just comes back with more stuff, and it just keeps going back and forth. Your replies aren't accomplishing anything. He'll stop if you let it alone.

I saw this game being played at a kiosk just last night. It looked pretty decent.

This was the one game that caught my eye when I played on the PS3 a few months ago. I thought it was finished back then, it just looks insane, especially in the first person view, it looks nearly as insane as the trailer that was shown at E3. Maybe all the cries of "pre rendered everything" are going to fall flat on their face? If Killzone 2 comes out looking half as good as the trailer then I'm willing to buy a PS3....once the price drops.

I agree, looks pretty damn good.

Also I can see the Single player getting dull quickly, like most racing games do. However as mentioned the multi player should be something else, as long as they don't gimp it too much :D

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
