i like BPFTPD(G6FTP). it's pretty easy to administer.

if you want a bit more advanced server check out GuildFTPD. it's also simple to setup, administer and it's free.

if you want something even more powerfull check out RaidenFTPD. but it has one of the worst interfaces of any program out there. yet many people like it ;)

there are many more servers..check out http://www.webattack.com/freeware/server/f...ftpserver.shtml and http://www.webattack.com/shareware/server/...ftpserver.shtml if you want more. or just google it.

i like bpftpd myself as well. i've tried serv-u, but i didn't think it was as good as bpftpd. i'll have to check out guild too.

I like BulletProof FTP Server! But they really need to update! :s

Also, what FTP servers should I use for Linux? I'm planning on removing Windows completely, but I still would like to keep the FTP up and running in case if someone needs to get soemthing off me. The FTP server setup in the Mandrake Control Centre didn't do a thing!
