object linking is when it leaves an icon in the document. when you click the icon, the respective program loads.

object embedding is when that specific program itself is embedded (or inserted) within the document itself. see the attached pic. thats Excel embedded inside the word document.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that... can you clarify?

Is this what you want? (see attachment). If so, get it by doing this:

select data cells > click Chart Wizard > (select type) > Next > Series in: Columns, instead of Rows.

nope, that is not it,......

the first column of table is the ID of each student, starting from the second column are the grades for test and homeworks....so basically, it is like a gradebook.....what i gotta do is ilustrate it with a graph using excel...

the ID tag should be treated like names of student not numbers like the one on your graph, the graph should illsutrate the grade (1-100) of each student for every work done........

thanks anyways for trying...i appreciated it......^^ i know this is very complicated cuz i just cannot get so many things on a single graph......

I'm not sure exactly how to do it, but you can force the student IDs to be treated names by putting a # infront of them (not sure if you're allowed to do this or not). I couldn't get the IDs on the far left (y axis), though. See attachment.

For example, the ID column would look like this:

#880514

#880516

#880535

#880719

#880732

    • I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.
    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.

    • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
    • Honestly you're not wrong about AdGuard. Neowin frequently has lifetime license discounts for them and that's how I got my cheap family license a few years ago to run it on all my devices.
