Bye Bye Wii...

DirtyLarry: DLDirtyLarry

Let me know if I need to add my name to the list or if you have it under control AN. (Y)

I have so many damn questions about this console it is not even funny. There appears to be so, so much you can do with it.

Since I have been so caught up with Resistance, I have not gotten a chance to play with the friends list much at all, so how exactly does the friends list work?

Is it just for messaging and such? Or for example if I see one of you playing Resistance (if it even shows what game you are playing, again, I have not played with it at all really) can I join the server you are playing on???

Basically my question is, since I am over half way through Resistance and when I am done plan on jumping online, how can I play with fellow members here?

Resistance has the ingame XMB so you can message ur friends from within the game and tell them to come join you and once your mates are in you can create a 'party' and you search for a game and you will all join or just do it the old fashion way, add your mates to your Resistance Friend list go join a game and get your buddies to go to the friends list and they can click to join your game!

Cool. Thanks for the info. I did not even realize Resistance had its own in game system. I usually like to play through the Single Player aspect of a game before I hop online, so I have not even launched the MP aspect yet. I look at it as "training" if that makes any sense.

    • I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.
    • I wonder if "put it back the way it was for decades" ever crossed their minds? 🤣
    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
