G3torrent is good for downloading multiple things over night as it has the option to stop sharing once its done downloading, but utorrent is good for large files and porn as it seems to download faster.

its pretty safe to say utorrent is gonna dominate just like last year. unless the new owners **** it up.

azureus is totally configurable but it runs on Java so its a memory hog. Dont mind i have enough to spare :)

As for my favorite client, i always thought that uTorrent was overrated too. I was a huge Bitcomet fan as it was very user friendly, but I recently switched over to uTorrent after I did a system reinstall and I have to say I love it!!! I seem to get better speeds overall and it has a much smaller memory footprint. Bitcomet would easily get upto 60mb or 80mb when I was downloading a lot of files. However, uTorrent is currently using 20mb on 11 downloads.

I didn't care for uTorrent at first either, but, much like Miranda, I learned to work with it instead of against it, and now it's all I use, much like sentences that never end.

I used Bit tornado until I seen a post similar to this one posted. Everyone said to give utorrent a try so i did. And I must say I am extremely pleased with it so far.

I do not need bells and whistles, all I needed was a client to download with and be done, and I have to say utorrent does that extremely well, and has the ability/options for me to do a TON of other things with it if I wish.. 1 feature I do actually use is you can have 1 folder for downloading/unfinished files, and then have it automatically move the file to another after they are completely and delete any extra remnants of the torrent. I like that. Not a huge thing but for me its nice.

hmm... well I voted for BitComet, as I've never had any problems with it except the download speeds which are far from impressive..

I'll follow the group concensus and give uTorrent a go.. No need to be ignorant huh? :)
