Some specific Windows folders/items have their own ID within the registry, called a CLSID value (Class Identifier). Making a shortcut to explorer.exe and referring to this value can be a useful way to create some shortcuts.

Command line should look like this:

explorer /root,,::{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}

Running IE5 you problably have to leave "/root," out to get them going. Or add "/e," instead to have the item opened in explorer, instead of a seperate window. Here's the clsid values:

One oddity, for the control panel it should read:

explorer /root,,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\::{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

Note some of these might get inverted in different windows versions, so if one doesn't work try something else.

FOUND IT...w00h00...look in the screenshot, it also works :D , damn nice, i never thouight of it, also i bet you can use any of the .cpl's from the registry screen-shot, replace %SystemRoot% with your windows directory [ie. c:\Windows]

:D ok guys when i said AVI's i ment the animations that apear when ur delting a file from the trash or moving files from one place top another those animation are avi exaclty wat that otehr dude said<---forgot ur name dude sorry>...so if it possabel to do some of those...and my shell32 would be complete and ready to show off... :D

What's the point of linking to the animation from your sig if this is all we get themonke?

about sig - BAH i hate that stupid f*&%$@g site, try again now, it is fixed, although i can access it w/o copy and paste

about dock - i can't figure it out, i'm still trying

about CD-ROM drive - almost done, just need to finish the CD

BAHHHHHHHHHHHH again :angry:
