That's all i've got for today. I most likely will not post on neowin at all tomorrow because i still have 2 books to read by next tuesday, AND i have family in town, so i'll be pretty busy. Enjoy the pngs i've posted today, and i hope to see some good work from others when i return :)

how do you guys do all this? i know that you guys must use photoshop, but where did you all learn it from? i would like to sharped my photoshop skills (they're like a marble), ,so do you guys have any walk-throughs or anything to help a brotha out? thanks

Hyperb0le says he's going to do a tutorial, but I don't use PhotoShop.

I was total photoshop lame,then i downloaded some basic tutorials from pixeljunction.it was fun so i continued in practicing and trying,i tryed to make folder icons using knifeface's template,and then i found out i can work with photoshop very well :) that's all i can tell you m8

I've got a question... All of these PNG's are these strictly for docks or can they be used in other places in windows? I keep seeing all sort of control pannel icons and I'm not sure why someone would want the add/remove programs on their dock...

you can convert these PNGs to other format using Axialis iconworkshop,or any good graphics program and Gif Movie Gear.(to convert them to ICO)

No they are just for docks. Some people want to use their dock as a control panel. And we are currently helping out on a (wierd) shell32.dll so people can use it instead. Not that they'd want to.

Well i would want to use them :)

My icons are 128x128 but right now they are a mix of Snow.E 2 and some HiResXP icons.

I know i said i wasnt going to post, but i had a spare minute so i came to check what was happening.

It's been quiet today... Here's a request... I'd appreciate any png's and if hyperb0le see's this I'd like his take on them as well ;)

The top one is a program called RxTx - It's a bandwidth tracker

The bottom one is Spinner 4.0 - great for free music if you have a decent internet connection

Heres one I just made from scrap, I know its crap, (rymes:D) but looks good at 48x48 ( ico format all sizes )
