Yeah, 192.168.2.1 :s I know it's the router's address

I've connected directly to the router/modem, it just doesn't work :(

I haven't updated the firmware recently to my knowledge lol

I was confused by what you meant when you said you can't connect to the router. See if another compuer works if possible. I've had the same problem with a linksys router. It worked for one but not the other computer. If all else fails you can try resetting the router. You'll have to reconfigure it though.
