HistoricalNeowin
I'm currently developing a gadget to show some details from Azureus in the sidebar on Vista, stuff like DL speed, amount of torrents, % complete etc. Is there anyone interested in this? If so would you be willing to test it? It requires you have Azureus and the HTML Web UI plugin installed on it. Please post here if you're interested as i want to get a little bit of testing done before i put it on the Live Gallery. Thanks, Law Edited January 20, 2007 by ljames28 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/ Share on other sites
Mouse91
I'm willing to test  I just have to install Azureus (I usually use Azureus but tried uTorrent for a while) and the WebUI. Might need some help installing the WebUI as when I tried installing on Longhorn Server with uTorrent's WebUI (didn't even know Azureus had one), it didn't work. HistoricalNeowin
Well i've put what i have so far below. Currently is just shows DL and UL speed but expanding it now should be easyish. Ive done some testing on VPC and it seems ok. azureus_1.0.zip Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/#findComment-588245533 Share on other sites

HistoricalNeowin
Can i ask what stats would be useful on the sidebar/flyout? I'm thinking amount of torrents compelted/seeding/downloading and maybe total % done? CPressland
I think maybe a system like the contacts gadget. You have a list of torrents, and when you Double click them it comes up with more info Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/#findComment-588246954 Share on other sites

HistoricalNeowin
Vegetunks, i would do that, but i cant seem to get any math to work in javascript so ill have another look when i have more time. Things like "var variable=torrentnumber+1" just stop the script from reaching its end :s Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/#findComment-588247119 Share on other sites

It's currently awaiting submission approval so in the meantime it can be downloaded here Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/#findComment-588259053 Share on other sites

manhole
Hey ljames It would be way cool to have Azureus 3D View as a gadget. It could show my progress and the number of seeders in a very nice fashion. Perhaps it would need one 3D View gadget per torrent but it could be limited to say five downloads listed at a time or it would clog up the sidebar. Is it possible? :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/531545-azureus-webui-vista/#findComment-588358180 Share on other sites

HistoricalNeowin
manhole: if it can be accessed over the web. If not no. If it can be, please pm me and ill work on it. destined1ne: utorrent haven't bothered providing anything to help developers, so there's absolutely now way to interface with it currently. I have considered it and made a few prototypes, but nothing sucessful enough to release.
