Awards for the best MISS-clues, or miscues. The funniest, wildest, stupidest, smartest, etc. solutions/clues that we all thought we had figured out that turned out to be nothing but our imaginations.

Some people here went off on some wild tangents that were off the wall. When this contest is finished we'll know more of what was right and wrong. But we can get started with the awards now.

OK I'll start with one. At some moment many of us were almost close to accept that "she" was a "he",

it was really funny to read about many conspiracy theories related to his/her sex change.

Best puzzle clue was in Search and Rescue. Look at the pencil in the first picture, the unzoomed one. it's pointing right at the correct location.

I know you were just joking, silkysmooth. I thought it was a hilarious joke, I liked it! Especially with the I'm going to bed now at the end. Funny stuff!

I'll enter my great guess...

If you look at a phone and enter the Left, right, up down thing, you can end up with only two sets of phone numbers missing the last number (which we hadn't gotten yet) for a 7 digit phone number. Add an appropriate area code, like 425 (Microsofts area) and in all cases you get the Bellevue Westin, a hotel that is often used for Microsoft guests and has a striking resemblence to the challenge video hotel room. So I figured if I could just ask for the correct name, I would find Loki.

Most disappointing part of the game: The "VIP" party in Seattle :sleep:

Most interesting puzzle trail: The first meta clue -- e-mail, then phone, then fax, then phone again.
