32bit sli 100.59 driver

Drivers suck big time...pretty crappy

All these jibby drivers makes me sad I bought a 8800GT:(:(

Actually you should be sad because you bought Vista. 8800 rocks under XP.

All these jibby drivers makes me sad I bought a 8800GTX :(

I'm not sad for also having bought a 8800, I just give it some more time... This is common with major OS updates...

Well then what is the point of having SLi if it will diminish performance???

Calm down... He never even implied that was not a problem, just that it didn't affect setups across the board.

Of course SLI shouldn't give performance problems -- you, him, I should know that.

I said that Microsoft screwed up everything. I said 6 months ago that because of the retarded new driver model ATI and NVIDIA will have a lot of problems getting their hardware working propertly.

Microsoft should do recall on Vista and fix broken OS...

No, ATI and NVIDIA should get there act together and get drivers out to support cards they make on an OS they have had for quite some time now.

I still have a problem where color settings are forgotten on every reboot with all these beta drivers that have been coming out. Anyone else experiencing this problem with this build or does anyone knows of a solution or work around?

ati and nvidia both admitted that they will need months to fix the performance problems of their vista drivers. Offcourse they need a lot of time and work to redesing their entire driver for vista. That has nothing to do with the OS, they had the same problems with xp, it's normal. Software isn't written in one day, certainly not drivers

    • Apart from a few very specific hiccups, Windows 11 has been good for me. Rock solid and stable. Unpopular opinion, I know, but it's mine.
    • No. Windows 8 had little to no spywhare, is actually faster than 7 but it has the dreaded start screen, nothing that you could not fix with start8. Windows ME crashed often, but was shotlived and replaced by XP, which is a much better windows in itself.
    • Windows 8 was uninspiring but it was fine / worked. It was just overshadowed by how great Windows 7 was. Windows ME seem to be just unstable for most people - I was using Windows 2000, which was far superior. The two best versions are Windows 7 and 2000
    • I don't think ME was that bad. The stability issues were mostly caused by drivers. This was when the switch from vxd to wdm was happening. The other complaint was not being able to shut down into DOS anymore which was silly with XP right around the corner.
    • As much as I hated Windows 8, although I never used it personally on any of my own machines, I think Windows Me was hands down the worst OS from MS. I have Windows 11 on 2 unsupported machines and haven't had any issues and I actually kind of like it. Still hate how slow Windows updates are though.
