can you remove the BRIGHT blue border around active windows?

oh i see what you mean.. i maximize all my windows except WLM, so it's not a big problem for me... but i can see why you think it's ugly.

I always assumed it was to make the edges stand out to make resizing windows easier. It stands out more than the transparent border, so I guess that makes it easier to see and click on. That's my best guess, but I don't mind it ever since I found out it wasn't a glitch back in beta 2.

You're (censored) me? It's a friggin .msstyle! You're suppos to patch your uxtheme, themeui and shvcs then replace this with the original .msstyle.

No need for such language. :no: Custom Vista styles are applied differently than how they were in XP. It's not "common knowledge" as your post seems to suggest, unless you've read a tutorial or something of the sort. He probably wasn't aware that you had to actually replace the default msstyle. So chill.
