Thats crap though because its just greyscaled and set darker a bit, a proper black theme would be nice.

Well yeah everyone should know that its just greyscaled, I'm not trying to accomplish anything here, other people had a hard time getting it - so I'm helping out. I am completely aware that this is not in any way MY visual style, and if it's disrespectful to post this up then I will happily remove it. On the other hand, any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll see what I can do.

but from what i hear, em3 starts throwing fits if you start wanting to release it. i guess start button mods are ok, but full theme color swaps are a no-no. :rolleyes:

Yeah I know other people have done it in the past, but no one has responded to my e-mails about trying it out.

well... that's probably because you'll be hounded into oblivion if you ever start openly spreading it around to people, because (as i said above) em3 will freak out about it.

why get everyone's hopes up when it's not something you'll be permitted to share?

Ok... so I've grown a little impatient being on the "Black List" and decided to make the theme myself. There are a few difficult parts, but overall the theme is around 90% done. Anyone who wants the beta or to help me finish it up just message me.

I would kill to have a pure black LE theme....Where can I get one if they've 'been done before'?

quit bein lazy, make a new theme, your own work.

I am pretty lazy :-P I just did this because I MYSELF wanted a black theme/came across others who wanted it/and without permission... sent a few out. I'm not really proud of anything - and having a difficult time removing this thread. Admins ignore me.

      You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.

      Microsoft is busy. Lots of changes to be released imminently for Windows server or soon. Also, lots happening for next version as well. Third party virus scanning software is being moved out of Kernel mode to avoid repeat of Crowdstrike incident. Windows Protected Mode and Windows Ready Print no longer require third party print drivers to be installed. New storage stack being developed. New NVME drivers now available for Windows Server 2025 to improve local NVME drive performance by 60+ percent. NVME-Of of fabric being worked on for next release to improve network access to NVME drives. ReFs (next file system) now has ability to boot and will become default file system in next release of Windows Server. ReFs improves on NTFS in several areas including resiliency and reliability and scalability. New update stack is being worked on to unify Windows updates, and updates for drivers and first party/3rd party application software. A stricter and more robust third-party driver certification program (ODI) is being worked on to improve performance, thermals, battery life, and reliability on modern Windows hardware by tightening how OEMs and IHVs (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc.) build and ship drivers. There is a tone more but too numerous to mention.
