Left Click on the '+' icon at the top of the sidebar. It will open the Gadgets window. Go from there to online and choose what gadget you want and then 'run' it instead of saving it to file. Otherwise you will have to navigate to the folder you saved it in and run it from there.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.

I have never tried the ones on this forum, but I presume that if you download them into the gadgets folder you should then be able to install them from there.
