Customizing Xwindows

I was wondering, if we could make a sticky thread or at the very least I will start a new thread to help other customise X Window (its not X Windows btw) since there is the same thing for the Windows groups.

My most favorite GTK1/2 theme is LighthouseBlue -> http://lighthouseblue.sourceforge.net .. The second favorite is Bluecurve.

Thanks a lot, Mezz. But where can I get the RPM's for Gnome 2.1 or 2.2 for Mandrake? I believe I better upgrade sooner or later. Also, I've already got accustomed to the icons so I might have some more icons done sooner or later. Maybe some like the set I made earlier for Windows.

RPM of what? themes? or Gnome? If it's theme, I don't see the point of use RPM, which it's bloody small and you can install (or compile/install for engine theme) by yourself. As for Gnome, I have no idea, check at Mandrake's websites.

I meant the actual Gnome.

according to linuxcompatible Mandrake Cooker has GNOME 2.2 RPMS on there... I have a link, hope its of some help :)
