It doesn't look that much different than the default theme.... You can change the window color to be a closer match (if not identical) to the one in the pictures; the only real difference I can see is the taskbar and sidebar, which are translucent white, not translucent black, and the sidebar has a definitive edge on the left side of it instead of fading to nothing.

Am I not seeing what makes this so different?

THANK YOU FOR RE POSTING THESE PHOTOS! I have been looking all over for them and the old topic got archived somewhere... Ok. Yes! I love this theme and I'm hoping somebody makes this for the upcoming window blinds for Vista. In any case, I'll take a shot at it when the time comes. YAY!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Ever since Windowblinds for Vista has come out I have been eagerly awaiting this visual style. I really like how this looks. However, I can swear I've seen a sidebar skin that mimics that one though. I'll look for it, and post if I can find it.

EDIT: http://www.download.joejoe.org/index.php?s...5b610bbc638a89e

The next to last one is an imitation of the sidebar. Now we just need to wait for a WB skin.

Yeah, this looks AMAZING... Of all the few themes available for Vista NONE have a clean, professional look. I'd even pay for it if someone ported this concept to WindowBlinds 5.5. The only minor thing I don't like about it is the rounded search button, it should be a rectangle like the address bar sitting right next to it.. The other thing I LOVE about this theme is that the taskbar is not horizontally spanned across the entire screen. Imagine if a person had 2 monitors though, and the taskbar would continue on to the next display and then "close" it. That would be pretty nice! :woot:

Wow, that looks great! I really wish Microsoft would release it!

That new flip3d thing with soft shadows and a blurred out background looks amazing! Vista is capable of it, as evidenced by the pictures, so Microsoft should release it for people to play with. It'd generate some buzz for sure.

    • I just wish they would put more love into Virtual Desktops. There is just so much more they could do.
    • Sounds like you just skimmed over the review, I answer all those questions in it. Although I admit I did not test if DTS works over the headphones, when I get some time I will test this. My personal use case is more speaker-driven (I cover this in the review too).
    • It actually does the same exact thing as yours, 7.1 virtual surround over headphones. From the product page: "Experience sound that surrounds you with 7.1 virtual surround, delivering a wider, more immersive soundstage for movies, games, and music." So both of them are two channel, with 7.1 virtual surround that only work in Headphones mode.
