Warner Bros. has released the box art (above) and details for their upcoming Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut DVD and Blu-ray release.

Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut offers a brand new cut of the film. This is the one (that I?ve been waiting for) that has the animated film Tales of the Black Freighter woven into the actual film.

If you?re a serious Watchmen fan this is a must have. You should also be aware that The Ultimate Cut will be a Limited Edition collectors item with Warner Bros. only releasing 70,000 units. Given that?s only 0.03% of the total number of DVD and Blu-ray copies of Watchmen previously sold, I?d suggest get ready to pre-order as soon as its available.

Both the DVD and the Blu-ray are exactly the same with two exceptions.

The first is the Blu-ray release will have BD-Live features which the DVD doesn?t have.

The second is Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic will be contained on the fourth Blu-ray disc, whereas it will span two discs (4 & 5) on DVD.

Here are the complete details:

Disc 1

* Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut film (RT: 215 mins)

* Audio Commentaries with Zack Snyder and illustrator Dave Gibbons

Disc 2

3 Hours of Special Features:

* The Phenomenon: The Comic that Changed Comics (RT: 28:50) ? Learn how the comic was created

* Real Super Heroes, Real Vigilantes (RT: 27:28) ? Explores the fascination and psychology behind real-world vigilantes

* Mechanics: Technologies of a Fantastic World (RT: 16:46) ? Takes a look at the filmmakers process of turning the plausible mechanics behind the characters and tools of the Watchmen graphic novel into cinematic reality

* Watchmen: Video Journals

* My Chemical Romance Desolation Row (RT: 3:16)

* Under The Hood (RT: 36:00) ? A retrospective look on the biography by Hollis Mason (the original Nite Owl) and the world of those who stood for hooded justice

* Story Within A Story: The Books of Watchmen (RT: 26:00) ? See how a comic-within-a-comic acts as parallel commentary to Watchmen.

Disc 3

* Digital Copy of the Theatrical Version

Blu-ray disc 4 / DVD disc 4 & 5

* Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic (RT: 325 mins) ? Overseen by Watchmen illustrator Dave Gibbons and produced by Zack Snyder, the motion comic adds motion, voice and sound to all 12 chapters of Watchmen?s drawn panels.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
    • My issue is I can't access the forum on mobile if the site is set to Desktop mode on Vivaldi because it can't complete the Cloud flare am I a bot check! I know this is a Vivaldi issues as it has started happening on all cloud flare check sites, it's so annoying, I've reported it but no fix yet.
