Nadella and the other execs at Microsoft need to stop deluding themselves that A.I. is a replacement for specialized knowledge within their company. Secondly, A.I. is not an intelligence tool, it's an inference tool. Artificial Inference. Never stop repeating that. -

I recently got a Chinese "WoWe" mini PC with a Ryzen 5 for like $150 brand new on Amazon. I got it to replace a raspberry pi and serve as my home VPN server and DNS Cache (PiHole). I made a backup of its factory Windows 10 image with Clonezilla, then immediately nuked it and installed Debian. So if you wanna be extra paranoid just nuke whatever is on it and install your own operating system of choice and you should be fine. I wonder though, if I couldn't restore that image to a virtual machine and boot it up just to see what, if any shady stuff came on it. -

Too many middle managers at these big companies are the problem imo. The guys under them do all the work but these VPs or PMs fight with each other in order to move up the ladder which just messes things up.

I have just started learning ASP.NET and have been working with the Microsoft provided starter kits. I have found a kit that was modified from one of them and would like to put it on the web now instead of the server provided with Visual Web Developer 2005 Express. The site works great on the local server, but what do I have to change in the code to get it to work on a real web server(my provider is 1and1, ASP.NET 2.0, 1 MS SQl database)
