I've always just posted mine in the Linux section, but since this general "desktops" thread exists, let me also post it here...

Distro: Fedora Linux

Window Manager: Fluxbox

Desktop Icons: None. Flux users don't need no steenkin' icons!

Theme: fluxaqua (found on freshmeat)

System Monitor: conky

Showing off the tabbed/merged flux windows with the terminals (any windows can be merged and tabbed this way).

Also, the GAIM window has decorations removed (another fluxbox feature I use and like).

Two torrents being downloaded and shared with Azureus - status bars shown in upper-left of screen.

Finally, using cheat codes in UT to ensure victory for the red team. :p

Ok, so I have been playing with Vista, testing out apps, whats working or not, making an image I'm happy with.

Only good registry manager I have found is Reg Organizer (the latest beta).

Seems to be running smoother after a good clean and defrag!

Im really after the Object Dock backgrounds on these desktops please somone link me to a download!!! :(

hey Stephen i sent you the link!

I tried it and gragded it in the Backgrounds folder on my computer under object dock, went to the dock to select a background and it never worked, only 2 skins I currently use appered, any ideas?
